POCKETS

The songs and script were tight and it allowed the actors the space to really dig into their characters with an almost SNL inspired aire. This kept you engaged and at the fingertips of the performers and the scenes carried momentum in what was a laugh out loud funny, definite must-see.... full review

Earth To Karen

Easy to enjoy. A coming of age story about one of the most famous for all the wrong reasons astronauts of all time. The dialog was tight, the actors performances all hit in the right spots and the songs maintained the same clever quip the script possessed. ... full review

The Last PowerPoint

So good in so many ways. It's dark, ironic, absurd, hilarious, poignant with an existentialist twist. Ben manages to pack heavy themes into a show that feels playful and funny and afterwards forces you to actually think about your life and what you should do with your time on earth. ... full review

Where the Roses Bloom

This team produced a piece which felt like a slice of life, grounded in a beautifully vulnerable tale of love. This show was solid and commendable, and I recommend giving it a view. ... full review

How I Became A Superhero

I found it enjoyable and an easy watch and I thought the overall quirky tone the writer established seemed to translate well with the casts performance of it. Reminded me a bit of the movie Kick-ass. Good show, go see it!... full review

The Journey of The Little Prince

A thoughtful adaptation of a classic children's book that touches on love and individuality that is relayed with an almost child like simplicity which exists at the heart of the original little prince. I sometimes felt like I could've been watching a kids bedtime story craftily being performed in their bedroom with the use of flashlight puppetry, and I mean that in the best way. Irina's intention seemed to be deliberate in allowing us to tap back into that little kid psyche. The script was writt... full review

The Same Room

This play was a wonderful physical realization of the abstracts of the human mind. I love the build up, where at first you’re wondering who these two people are to each other until it culminates and without spoiling too much, I will just say something along the lines of “birds of a feather.” This play touches on the idea that we all have different aspects of self within us, sometimes it’s just about which of those selves you listen to. If your looking for a thought provoking and emotionally enga... full review
