This show is a total blast. Four Clowns has been putting up dependably awesome shows at the Fringe since it began, and their latest offering does not disappoint. In "Me Rich, You Learn," the absurdity is both rambunctious and precisely executed, like a great Monty Python sketch. What story is told in this show would be hard to summarize, but suffice it to say that you won't be able to make it through the hour without laughing from your gut at least a few times. This show is a testament to the Fringe's ability, with its open-door policy, to attract genuinely high quality productions. The play is a gem, the production is simple and effective, and the actors are gifted and exciting to watch. The production of the Pinter play "The Caretaker" that I saw on a London stage fifteen years ago, which starred none other than Sir Patrick Stewart, had nothing on the show I saw performed last night in a sixty seat blackbox theater on Santa Monica Boulevard. I loved this show. It's a wonderfully crafted adaptation of the comments section of the Eastsider website by Rory Mitchell which gives you an on-the-ground look at the history and daily life of the neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Highland Park. It's at times laugh-at-loud funny and at times serious and sad. You'll leave feeling like you've met your neighbors.... full review

An insightful and comedic look at drug abuse, codependence, and narcissism. The script is a delight - full of wit and flair - and the show is brought to life by good acting and solid direction. The show is fun and heartfelt. A lovely night at the theater.... full review
