Definitely my cup of tea... not necessarily my wife's. Neither of us had seen the show before, but I knew the basic premise and my wife didn't. Having seen it, I think it would be helpful to know before you go the basics of how the story is being told; otherwise you can't really figure it out until the mid-point. The cast is very talented with great voices and solid calves. The fringe's best choreography with heels and forearm canes! Some overall amazing staging and vocal blending. The material, however, is a little lacking. The melodies are good but never really nail it. The story is a playful adaptation of Frankenstein, but it comes across as rather clunky since it tries too hard to be faithful to the source material.
