Perhaps I might have missed the establishing set up at the beginning due to people being seated after the show had begun but it was quite distracting and this was an extremely confusing and hard to follow play for me. I read in the description of the play (afterwards) it said it "transcends time and place" but having people communicating with telegrams, letters, and using laptops, I felt there wasn't a specific motivated choice for it. I saw the show on preview night (yes, it's taken me this long to finally get to my reviews), but this show is still strong in my memory so I think that's saying something. Cyanne's story pulled me in and kept me interested the whole way through. And knowing that this is inspired from a true to life experience I applaud her hard work and dedication to get her story up on the boards. Cyanne is charming, spirited, and wonderfully energetic on stage. I look forward to seeing more of her work.... full review
