David Foy Bauer rocked as John Lennon. Stephanie Greer was assured and confident as his nemesis, Maureen Cleave, with great turns from Spencer Cantrell and Trevor Boelter in supporting roles.
What I didn't like
Agree that some TV clips could have elevated the production value, but this is Fringe, with only a 15-minute window to set up the show and tear it down, so those elements may be unrealistic for this run.
My overall impression
This is a smart, cutting edge play, with strong performances. It’s definitely one that should be on the top of your “must see” list at this year’s Fringe.
