A crisp, simply presented piece with dynamic performers. David Foy Bauer embodies John Lennon perfectly. Spencer Cantrell brings nuance to everything he's ever done and this is no exception. Maureen Cleave woos us with her subtle charm. This is a great teaser for the full length play to come.... full review

Powerful, timely, and engaging, this show brings John Lennon and the Beatles into the harsh light of celebrity, reality, and what it means to be owned by the world. A fantastic piece of theater that stays with you long after it's done, leaving you asking if the price of fame is worth the cost of self. ... full review

I really liked and appreciated this show! It was clean, simple, deep, interesting, thought-provoking, and expertly done. Wow, as clinical as all my adjectives seem to be, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It had a lot of heart, and I'm really thankful I got to see it! I can't wait to see the longer version of this!... full review

Fantastic play. Incredible casting. Not only do many of the cast members have the fortunate perk of resembling their real life counterparts, every single performer was excellent. The already great cast has a compelling script to work with, and one can only assume solid direction guiding it all. Funny where is should be, captivating when it needs to be serious. The play understands what it wants to be and the team involved has brought that vision to life.... full review

This is what the Fringe is for! This look at one moment in the young life of John Lennon, one whose repercussions extended through his solo years and death, is a unique and marvelous piece, beautifully written, directed, and performed. For even the casual Beatles fan, it's a great education into a now-mostly-forgotten disaster that nearly ended the group; and for those with the knowledge of it, it serves up a brilliant look into the psychology of this tormented, egotistical, genius far too young for all he was experiencing. ... full review
