About the Project
Notorious for its headline-grabbing brutal torture and massacre of a father and daughter on Good Friday, a mysterious thrill kill cult has retreated to the desert surrounding Las Vegas, where they lie in wait to once again satisfy their blood lust. An unsuspecting group of six friends on a road trip to Sin City stumbles into the killers’ trap…and the sweltering desert is suddenly transformed into hell on earth. One by one, the ruthless cult killers force the Vegas-bound friends to confront their worst nightmares. As the sun blazes and mercury rises, bloodshed follows bloodshed, and reality descends deeper into madness. Meanwhile, an investigative team desperately rushes to unravel the religious thrill kill cult mystery – piecing together clues that speak of Vegas mortal sins, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and a sick, twisted interpretation of absolution.
