What I liked
Very simple concept – analyzing memories from a couple and determining why they broke up. They did well to make the entire set up run smoothly – from the person who greeted us and checked us in and making small talk to the whole “orientation” from the staff. We also really loved the chat afterward watching the memories as people discussed the couple in question and their actions. I don’t want to give anything else away so I’ll leave it at that.
We left talking about the experience and chatted long after about relationships, our own relationship, how we perceive others relationships and how they may perceive our own. So this piece left us talking about it long after the experience was over!
What I didn't like
The acting in the VR could be stronger, but I also understand how difficult that is to synch properly as the actors are acting across a VR camera and not an actual person. (Acting in person was all natural and engaging.)
My overall impression
Really simple and well executed concept – My husband and I love judging other people’s relationship so we both thoroughly enjoyed this piece.
