I especially liked Katelyn Schiller’s interpretation of Hamlet. She’s got a great stage presence. I also enjoyed the very ‘90s indie movie vibe the whole piece had and appreciated the modern touches and humor.
What I didn't like
Nothing major I can think of. I initially wondered if there was going to be an imbalance among the three main characters (I mean, it is Hamlet, right?) but then the story shifts focus a bit to make sure Laertes and Ophelia also get their due attention.
My overall impression
I really enjoyed this unconventional take in such well explored material. It made me think of the story of Hamlet in a different way. Very engaging and well acted. Go see it!
