What I liked

The play gets a lot of comedy mileage out of modern day reactions to the plot point of Hamlet as it loosely follows its source material.

What I didn't like

This may be a bridge too far for Shakespeare purists who are looking for a production of that play set in modern times. This is not that. It is its own beast, that portrays Hamlet as an emotionally manipulative sociopath. That may ring false to some fans of the Bard, but it rings all too true to those of us who have been unfortunate enough to encounter such toxic individuals in real life.

My overall impression

What if Hamlet, Laertes, and Ophelia were all roommates in a modern day apartment? Then you’d have this clever, well acted dramadey, in which our trio have to deal with the pitfalls of modern life: a stuffed up toilet, losing electric power, etc. along with many of the problems of the original play.
