This show follows the life of a sincere human who finds herself lost…We see how, through adversity and challenges (emotional, physical and all kinds of “als”…)…she finally figures out that as soon as she clicks her heels, she will find her inner Kansas. Susy dreamed of being Miss America, sitting in her living room in the projects in Cleveland, Ohio…we follow her life path, and go with her to the darkest regions of depression, shame, helplessness, and finally empowerment and self actualization. She sings, cracks jokes, and sees the whole journey through a lens of fun. What used to floor her, now motivates and inspires her. She was going to call it “Incest- The Musical”…but thought that might be a bit much. After all….we are spirits living in a material world….so what matters most is the soul’s journey. It’s only life after all, and we’re all in this together.
