Featuring the original “street performer” character, Black Hollywood Marilyn and her sidekick, Kat—-the two venture unexpected territory and see what it truly takes to survive and elevate their stardom from the grit to glitz and glam in Hollywood.
New arrivals to the ‘Boulevard’ life, they acquire their street cred with the help of ‘The Man’, Lotus and their guardian Godfather, Cohalith.
Black Hollywood Marilyn and Kat experience the highs and lows of that iconic corner, Hollywood & Highland, as they work day jobs and perform a live show on the Boulevard by night. Their naive innocence as outsiders— not just to Hollywood, but to Planet Earth— is the audience’s way in to a strange, sexy, and exciting world.

CHARACTERS
Black Hollywood Marilyn,(played by April Q. Russell), is symbolic of a universal goddess and original Hollywood street character, on a mission to break into Hollywood. She is loving and kind, and with the powers of her Third Eye she can foresee evil and what lies ahead.
Kat, (played by Maleena Lawrence) is Black Hollywood Marilyn’s cousin
and a mystique Hollywood street character. A curvy beauty and shrewd problem-solver, she takes a darker path to stardom,using her shape-shifting powers to fit-in. Kat’s naive relationship with Lotus causes her more harm than she can recognize.
Man Cohalith
Man Cohalith is the guardian spirit and gives them their mission to revolutionize Hollywood. A powerful being residing on Planet Sirius, he watches closely but doesn’t interfere as the girls struggle to make it big.
Lotus
Lotus knows Hollywood & Highland like no other and believes that, with his help, Black Hollywood Marilyn and Kat have the star quality to rocket to the top. He’s cocky, loud, quick-witted, and all about the money. Lotus wants to help both girls succeed in Hollywood, but his attraction to Kat is not favorable.
