What I liked
Fun classic script, nice costumes, colorful characters, a nice and passionate cast. It’s a crowd pleasing experience.
What I didn't like
At the pace that it’s been abridged too it takes a moment to really latch onto what is going on, but once you’re in you’re in.
My overall impression
A nice spin on an old classic I was not familiar with until seeing. It feels fun and fresh despite the play being hundreds of years old and you can literally feel how much fun the cast and audience is having with all of the situational comedy. Brisk, funny, endearing and touching it’s got a nice little mix of everything you’d want from a play of this kind.
