What I liked

One of the standout aspects of “Bloody Awful” is Frankel’s unique blend of comedy and suspense. The stories are filled with unexpected plot twists that catch you off guard and keep you engaged from start to finish. The author’s ability to seamlessly weave humor into even the darkest situations is commendable and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the reading experience.

What I didn't like

While “Bloody Awful” is undeniably entertaining, there were moments where the pacing could have been tightened. Some scenes lingered a bit longer than necessary, causing a slight dip in the overall momentum. However, these instances were few and far between, and they didn’t significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the stories.

Furthermore, a bit more variety in the comedic styles explored within the collection could have added an extra layer of depth. While the dark humor and unexpected twists were certainly enjoyable, a touch of diversity in comedic approaches could have elevated the book even further.
