Antonio Sacre, multiple Best of Fringe Winner in Fringe festivals in nationwide, including the New York International Fringe Theater Festival, the San Francisco Fringe, and the Hollywood Fringe, presents “The Storyteller”. With his blend of humor and heart, he blends two cultures and four unbelievable stories into one compelling narrative about what it means to be paid to lie for a living, and how it feels to be only the 10th best storyteller in his family.

As a solo performer, Sacre won twice won the Best Storyteller in the 2011 and 2012 United Solo Theater Festival, twice won a Best In Fringe Festival award at the New York International Fringe Theater Festival, and twice was selected as one of the Best of the Hollywood Fringe Theater Festival. His show The Next Best Thing was nominated for an LA Weekly Theater Award and chosen as one of their Top 10 L.A. Theater Experiences in 2011. His eight solo performance pieces have enjoyed critical and popular acclaim at the New York International Fringe Festival in New York City, the San Francisco Fringe Theater Festival, the Hollywood Fringe Theatre Festival, the HBO and Comedy Central Workspaces in Los Angeles, the Rhinoceros Theater Festival and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Kennedy Center, and numerous festivals internationally. He is a member of The Solo Collective in Los Angeles.

Paul Stein has directed numerous one-person shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco,
New York, and Toronto, including The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour at the 2010 soloNOVA Arts Festival at PS 122, and other productions at the Summer Works Festival, Beverly Hills Playhouse, U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and Hollywood Fringe. He recently directed Antonio Sacre’s The Next Best Thing, winner of “Best Storyteller” at the 2011 United Solo and 2012 LA Weekly Award nomination for Best Solo Performance and Leonard Nimoy’s one-person play Vincent starring Jean-Michel Richaud for Next Arena at VS. Theatre in Los Angeles. Paul is the Artistic Producer and Conceiver of The Car Plays, a site-specific event with past productions at RADAR LA, Segrestrom Center, and the La Jolla Playhouse.
