Performances will take place at Theatre Asylum. This production marks its Hollywood premiere. Headscarf and the Angry Bitch, written and starring Zehra Fazal, is a semi-musical, fully comic exploration of life as a Pakistani Muslim growing up as an American girl in the suburbs. Zed Headscarf, an aspiring folk-rock musician, is hired by her local Islamic Community Center to teach the greater community about Islam through music—resulting in hilariously shocking revelations through story and song.
