The show was excellent! I was very inpressed with both how well Gabriela Ortega’s performance mesmerized you, as well as the impressive display of minimalism on display. The whole play is on one set, yet it functions as many locations seemlessly. The sinple change of a skirt, a colored light, and a new was all that was needed to take us back and forth from the April Revolution of 1965 to the present. It ahows how a well written script, a strong performer, and a talented director can come together to make something special.
What I didn't like
The venue was a little warm. It made both is the audience as well as Gabriela, a little sweaty. She did wonderfully, although toward the end the heat/sweat meant some strands of hair were sticking in unfavorable positions.
