What I liked

Fucking ELECTRIFYING! Solid, surprising script. Intense, REAL performances. Very simple yet specific staging.

What I didn't like

It was a late night for me, so my attention flagged at the end. However, I blame that on a long day and a whiskey sour…definitely not the performances.

My overall impression

You can’t always judge a book by its cover, but TILT had some killer artwork. Looked like some classic Guy Ritchie pulp, but I thought there’s no way that could be pulled off on stage…

And it wasn’t.

Because TILT was way better than some Guy Ritchie joint.

We got a solid two-hander that’s exploding bigger than the confines of that small room. Engaging story, characters, dialogue – I want to see them on a big screen. As is, though, we have the American Martin McDonagh.

Real performances, constantly shifting and surprising. This is a definite must-see for anybody craving a savory hour of theatre.
