ECHO PARK’S ESCALATOR HILL, 5 PIECE AMERICANA INDIE ROCK BAND SCHEDULED TO PERFORM AT THE FIRST ANNUAL HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL JUNE 17 AND JUNE 19, 2010

June 7, 2010—Escalator Hill, 5 piece Americana Indie Rock band from Echo Park is scheduled to perform at the first annual Hollywood Fringe Festival Thursday, June 17th from 11 p.m.-12 a.m. at the Paul Gleason Theater and Saturday, June 19th from 6:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Egyptian Theater Outdoor Courtyard.
With two of it’s members hailing from the late LA pop rock group, You Me and Iowa, EH is Tony Benedetti on vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion, Nancy Kuo on violin, viola and cello, Ryan Ross on trumpet and keys, Andrew Schneider on electric guitar, and Taylor Lipari on bass. Colorful instrumentation combined with Benedetti’s clever songwriting has been described as ‘Beirut meets Arcade Fire meets Neutral Milk Hotel meets Debussy’.
