My overall impression
Shows like this are difficult to do. They seem simple enough, but finding two actors who can carry, thematically, an emotion or feeling over one hour, and do it with lovely voices to boot, must be a challenge. Janet Miller has found two tremendous singers in Jessie and David, and their interpretation of Sondheim’s songs tells the story that needs to be told. A model of how small musical revues should be done.
