Den of Thieves focuses on the lives of four hilariously screwed up low-life criminals trying to get their hands on 750,000 of Mob money in a safe guarded by a crack-head in a Disco. “Death is the sentence when you rob from Al ‘The Big Tuna’ Pescatore…”The Thieves’ inevitable capture leads to a battle of wits and verbal gymnastics as the four of them fight for their survival. Ripping off the Mob is never a good idea – not in reality, anyway. But, In the hands of Stephen Adly Guirgis and an extremely talented cast, it can make for a fabulous night of theater.
