Bullet Bites Man is a multi media spoken word theater piece performed by NEA Award winning playwright and HBO DEF poet Idris Goodwin.
Bullet Bites Man weaves social commentary and parody with a hip hop tinge to interrogate the legacy of media perpetuated black stereotypes. By blending personal narratives, historical facts, stolen sounds and motifs, this 45 minute performance attempts to uncover our media molded concepts of what it means to be black in the so called “post racial America.”
