NOBODYMOVEANDNOBODYGETSHURT!!! is 35 very short plays.
Excerpted from the plays:
there is a word that could destroy the universe // i have a friend every time he sneezes he says sneeze // you can go there it is a place you can go // say your mom is crazy // is there anything to hold onto here // as he slowly walks away a woman is seen // tell them that there is information that might come in handy later if you know what i mean // let’s get basic // can you hear how hard i’m pounding these keys // this song is high school sex // it would be much easier if i were blind // the bird was dead and teeming with life // this is not a rehearsal // turning to snow // the hand emerging from the wall is not the focus // the end sounds like feedback and noise and a pulse it’s thrilling there might be a strobe and a climactic action with a repeated message that is almost definitely not a recorded message // there is a lot of blood // i struggle to open the small panel and listen but hear nothing // the ring i have chosen for my cell phone is completely ineffective because every time i hear it i go into a trance // i wasn’t crying and i stopped
