MERCY is a is a darkly comedic play that centres around a British Iranian expat family living in London. 

Starring Shila Ommi and Bijan Daneshmand, the story takes audiences on a spiritual and mystical journey delving into themes of grief, acceptance and most importantly, love. Through biting humour and tender moments, MERCY explores an emotionally complex portrait of a man and woman facing mortality, their tumultuous state of a crumbling marriage, and the fragmenting effects it has on their family.

Shila is known for her performances in AppleTV’s ‘Tehran’ (the third season will be airing soon), Disney/Pixar’s Oscar nominated film ‘Elemental’, and Netflix’s upcoming new series ‘Kaos’ amongst many. She will be playing the role of Amireh, the matriach of the family.

Bijan has starred in many films such as Munich, The Immigrant, The Persian Version and series such as The Night Manager and House of The Dragon. He will play the role of Sol, Amireh’s husband.
