“Top of the Fringe” Lost Moon Radio Presents Million Dollar Hair

LOS ANGELES, May 27, 2014 – Award-winning LA comedy group Lost Moon Radio presents Million Dollar Hair, a comedy tribute concert, June 7 – 28, at the Hudson Backstage as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, where the group won “Top of the Fringe” and “Best of Comedy” in 2012.

Million Dollar Hair is a comedic celebration of the life and death of fictional music industry icon Bernie Schonfeld. Over five decades in the industry, the groundbreaking music producer, record label owner, and amateur homeopath made history with his nontraditional taste and unforgettable haircut. Audiences will learn of his adventures and scandals from the rock stars, legends, and family members who knew Bernie best in this song and joke filled evening. Part rock history primer, part wildly inappropriate charity fundraiser, part heartfelt homage, Million Dollar Hair is all Lost Moon Radio music magic.

Million Dollar Hair is Lost Moon Radio’s fifth annual Hollywood Fringe production. Previous productions by the company took the festival awards for “Top of the Fringe” and “Best of Comedy” in 2012 and “Best of Comedy” in 2011, as well as LA Weekly’s “Best of the Hollywood Fringe” distinction in 2011 and multiple Best of Fringe extensions. The company’s live shows have earned multiple GO’s from LA Weekly and critics praise Lost Moon Radio’s work as “Brilliantly weird” (Jason Rohrer, Stage and Cinema), and “Rock and roll comedy that exceeds expectations…a seamless display of talents in absolute cohesion” (Tony Bartolone, Huffington Post).
