A Creamy Blend Of Comedy Sketches And The Apocalypse

Los Angeles, CA — 5.3.2024 — Fish Licks is delighted to announce the upcoming production of “Milk: A Very Dairy Sketch Show”, a comedy show that will make audiences laugh with dynamic, sometimes revolting sketches that are all about milk. This in-your-face-wacky production is set to take the stage at The Broadwater Second Stage as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival in the month of June.

When we said we wanted to make a comedy show that was entirely milk-themed, they said it couldn’t be done. But we dug deep into everything from the history of milk and classic ads for dairy products, to what happens when milk finally goes extinct. And based on our first run of the show at The Pack Theater earlier in 2024, we’d say that it works!

“Not only is it hilarious,” said Fish Licks fan Neil Koperek, “but it cured my brittle bones disease.”

Set in a post apocalyptic world, an old man who cherishes the memory of milk tells the story of the dairy product through a series of 12 sketches, straight from the cow’s teat. Bonus for Fringe: we’ll have cartons of milk at concessions. Come thirsty!

“Milk” is fully written and produced by the four members of Los Angeles based indie sketch group “Fish Licks”:
Hudson Long
Molly Sharpe
Simon Gissler
StaggerLee Cole

Venue: The Broadwater Second Stage
