Johnathan Tchaikovsky

Johnathan Tchaikovsky was born and raised in New York City. While working several jobs, an appreciation for poetry led to studying the plays of William Shakespeare at HB Studio. The teachers there encouraged him to study acting as a professional pursuit.

His first professional theatrical experience was at 19 years old opposite Faye Dunaway in ETUDE’S: MASTER CLASS STUDIES understudying Alan Cumming at the famed NYC Actor’s Studio.

Since then he has gone on to appear on FX’s RESCUE ME, CBS’s COLD CASE, NBC’s LAW & ORDER, and recently played opposite Thandie Newton in NBC’s miniseries THE SLAP.

Notable work in film includes the features OFF THE BLACK with Nick Nolte, DESCENT with Rosario Dawson, CONCUSSION with Robin Weigert, and as a Stratton Oakmont Broker in THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.

He recently worked with new award-winning filmmakers on the short films CHANDELIER, COVER GIRL, OPEN ROADS and co-stars in the Independent feature THIS IS NOWHERE, opposite Gus Birney.

WIGFIELD - The Play

Adapted from the book "Wigfield", this play tells the story of a writer named Russell Hokes who stumbles upon a 'town' of people who have is hope. Hope to be recognized as the town they claim to be before the government destroys them.
