Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026 Reviews

Dinosaurs

This was a truly charming story about a very tough subject matter. Mandy impressed me as a playwright with last years ALL CATS GO TO HELL, and this did as well. Her performance as the dinosaur was beautifully engaging and funny and provided a nice counterpoint to the serious subject matter of the play. Hailey and Devin are a great pair, with wonderful chemistry and performances.... full review

45-Love

Love this show! I laughed I cried, it is very personal story about Brook’s growing up, her motherhood and how relationships and how we show up in them are very much influenced by our own inner struggles that when brought to conciousness can be resolved and, more importantly understood and accepted as human and normal. And yes - a lot of tennis, which is a brilliant anchor to Brooks show, and important part of it. You do not need to be expert though, as each of us, I am sure, can identify with som... full review

Another incredible Molly Sharpe production. Such an icon and a legend and the Dutchess of Fringe. This is a must see production. Only Molly Sharpe could do this show. I bought the album and now I know genuinely all of the words to all of the songs. ... full review

ANXIETY THE MUSICAL! (do you like that title? is that okay?)

jonah weiland · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
A truly fun look at anxiety. Jasmine's catchy lyrics and charm draw you in. And it's balanced out by a grounded ending, where it gets much more vulnerable and serious.... full review

DOLL COURT

max charbonneau · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
Doll Court delivers on the promise it makes to its audience: a courtroom full of dolls. The show is stupid, interactive, and such a unique type of show. You become totally immersed in the court of dolls. Great show for someone who wants to play pretend for 30 minutes or an aspiring lawyer. ... full review

STRONG STOIC STRAITZ: ALPHA PODCAST FOR MALE KINGS (a musical)

amanda hadge · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
Man did I love this show! It gave me the laughs I very much needed while also filling me with joy. The three main "straitz" really brought their characters to life and kept the show moving at a lightning pace. I've never been so willing to be mansplained to! The Greivance Train is an absolute highlight but there are so many gags that will keep you doubled over laughing the whole show.... full review

Why do lenders often struggle when their servicing process depends on disconnected tools and manual work? Because loan servicing software needs to support much more than payment tracking alone. Businesses need visibility into borrower activity, repayment schedules, servicing workflows, and reporting, all within one structured system. If lending operations are growing more complex, it makes sense... full review

DEAD JOHN (Rock 'n Roll Until We Die)

We saw Dead John on Saturday and had an amazing time. The show has this wild, hilarious energy that feels like Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny crashed headfirst into Final Destination, with inventive deaths, big laughs, and a surprisingly catchy set of songs.... full review

What a playful exploration of some really painful parts of being human. The actors do a fabulous job of holding us lightly to slowly ease us into a complex and satisfying ending. This show has so much love and I’m grateful I got to experience it. ... full review

MIKE BLAHA: PIVOTAL NOMAD

charles ziarko · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
Mr Blaha has packed on the poundage since his last, years-ago foray into Fringe, with an almost identical monologue show: this time, only 10% disorganized semi-anecdotes and 90% ugly and unfunny anti-Trump screed, undermined by unnecessary amplified (and distorted) sound in a 16x12 room smaller than my living room! ! would have walked out, but I was trapped in a corner of the room and didn't realize he would use ALL 60 minutes of his hour!... full review
