Really charming and enjoyable show -- Harper can really sing and she's got a story to tell. Some really very, very funny moments with well-written songs and great work from sideman Greg on the piano. ...

This was my second time seeing this performance, and my overall impression was still that this is an incredibly entertaining show! The story of Roz Brown's family and her trip to Africa was interesting by itself, but the way Roz impersonated the characters and brought the story to life kept me hanging on her every word!!!...

An unpredictable showcase of talent. Harper’s voice is beautiful to listen to, while the things she’s singing about are hard to talk about. The Pianist, Greg is amazing and the perfect compliment to Harper’s humor. This show is direct, funny, and must be discussed in 2026....

Baby Eyeballs feels fresh, funny, and very much of the moment. It’s a truth-telling one-man show with sharp comic timing and emotional honesty. The direction makes skillful use of lighting, pacing and movement to define the different characters. Honest, well-performed, and refreshingly human!...

Wedding Party asks an intriguing question: if a friendship ends badly, what makes it worth trying to save? The show’s lead character, Ximena, grapples with that concept through her complicated relationship with four former friends. And along the way, she learns when to mend a relationship, and when a bridge is better left burned....

A performance of PUNISH ME with a slightly different cast tonight (6/7/2026) at the Hudson Backstage Theater proved just as sharp and professional as the one I saw in February. It remains a well‑written thriller, penned by Michael Dukakis and performed by him alongside a well‑chosen cast. Beyond being a versatile actor, Dukakis shows himself to be an alert dramatist, filling his authentic scenes with cinematic pacing, tension, and genuine entertainment. I truly recommend it — and I’d absolutely l...

Dana Kim, the childhood drama bits have really come 'round...and in your one-woman show, you get to play your Babushka.
It may have been only an hour, but call me Uncle Brian because I got to be as good as the other Gartlands for your Grade School days and Sean's cancer bit. Hilarious, moving and filled with Sean's fresh spirit through to the end.
While I get to savor the intimacy of the written memoir, the beat of the live performance is, well, unbeatable. ...

A fun spin on a classic! Not nearly as absurd as the original, and a pleasant departure rather than a "paint by numbers" approach. Playful, at times shocking, and always moving at a clip, this was so entertaining! They're waiting for Gadot, but you shouldn't wait to see this show!...

I found THE CHURCH OF DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT to be a prescient, uplifting, and pointed show that will stay with me for a long time. Sibling Joey and the rest of the cast & crew bring forth the gospel truth of the evils of social media, and outline a path to digital salvation in this prescient, uplifting, and pointed show.
I will be coming back for another performance, and I will be bringing my social media-addicted friends to be SAVED! Hallelujah!...
