In a sea of one-person shows, this one stands out as funny, personal, heartbreaking, and truly informative! Jess is such a seasoned performer and is able to carry us through a lot of history (both her's and Joan's) with ease, charm and aplomb. This is a MUST SEE fringe show for everyone!...

Heartbreaking and Funny. I didn't know this story and I love Fringe shows that show us a different perspective of the world. It is a sad story, no getting around that. Yet, don't let that stop you. See this one!...

Doll court was a total blast! Maddie is a super fun, lively, hilarious performer who keeps the show moving at a rapid pace. It felt like laughing with your childhood friend group but with a slightly more mature sense of humor (but also plenty of poop and pee jokes thank god)!...

A clever production with a clear and deep love of vaudeville; a dynamic two-hander that keeps you guessing and fully utilizes the medium.
The performances are spot on; unmistakable shades of the Marx Brothers, with the silent-but-expressive musician and the gregariously-vocal ambiguously-European counterpoint. Both leads were committed and authentic, despite the absolute insanity that they were drawing the audience in with.
High-energy and extremely creative, it was an extremely memorable ...

“HOLLYWOOD CHOLA” was the therapy session I needed. A sold out OPENING! CONGRATS!!!
Yelyna brings us into her world so effortlessly! The music sounded like old school rap, I was OBSESSED. The show really gets you to feel every emotion on the spectrum. Joy. Excitement. Laughter. Sadness. I felt like I left a wonderful therapy session. It was so cathartic. I left feeling so inspired....

This is a tender and funny show about a man who happens to be a transperson and a mother who struggles to mother, that is to say love and care for, their own fox-watching, Trump-voting mother.
Told through a series of Thanksgivings, the show is simply produced with direct and rich dialogue, and you quickly forget that you’re in a theatre with others. Instead, it feels as if you’re being told a story by friend over dinner, just the two you. And soon, dessert and coffee are served and then, to...
