What I liked
It was easy to see how much work, effort, and thought this piece received from beginning to end. Theme was cohesive with set dressing. Media and live performance was well balanced. Blocking/movement kept a good energy and pacing. All actors were clearly skilled, I was especially impressed by the young actor for X. And Sam is a hunk ;)
What I didn't like
The Christian undertones did not seem so subtle to me, as the story became a little predictable.
My overall impression
This show speaks to the current zeitgeist in a way that allowed for reflection of the gravity of the state of our world, existential dread, the roles of faith, compassion, and community, all under the consideration of our perception of reality. At the same time, it was balanced with levity and humor. An engaging show with really solid acting performances.
