Set in an WW2 allied prisoner of war camp, three prisoners must perform a production of of the ancient greek drama under bane of death. But with no text of the play and disparate world views, these clowns must find some common ground or die trying.
Written and directed by Ravi Kapoor (Crossing Jordan) and performed by himself, Russell Milton and Norman Scott, O!EDIPUS explores Sophocles’ most potent drama, the vagaries of colonialism, empire and excrement obsession.
These three actors trained and last worked together over 20 years ago. The Hollywood Fringe seemed like the perfect venue to get the band back together again.
