The Bufkin Company is proud to present the world premier of a dark, funny, surreal new play written by Matthew Chester and directed by Mary Evans, starring Jeff Elam, Lars Francisco, Stephanie Giles, Justin Sherman and Emily Spalding.
A cross between Neil Gaiman and The Twilight Zone, In Dream tells two stories in the world of the Library, where one harried man in glasses presides over books filled with people’s secrets, hopes and darkest fears. In the first story, an ordinary man is locked in the same room as the man who has been mathematically proven to be the most evil person alive. In the second story, a woman meets her daughter as an adult, and finds that in the future, her life has taken an unexpected turn.
