HWFF Actress Joins Anti-Supremacy Org To Spread Compassion In The U.S.

May 18, 2022

Actress Erin Elizabeth Burns is teaming up with the non-profit Life After Hate to promote the understanding of our society’s villains in hopes to humanize those who dehumanize.

Her 1-woman 1-act play, Why I am the Way I am: 7 Stories of people you probably already hate©, is an exploration into the humanity of society’s most vilified people in an attempt to lean away from judgment and into compassion. The audience gets to know them on a deeper level and find out once and for all, why they are the way they are; what helped form their belief systems and points of view.

Each audience member is given the chance to ask the burning questions they would want to ask these extremists, if given the opportunity; opening doors into courageous conversation… where change can begin.

The final Producer’s Encore Performance will be produced by MPact Pictures at the Hollywood Fringe Festival July 9th, 8 pm at the Hudson Theaters.
