Review by CAROLE LOWE

June 15, 2012

My overall impression

An amazing performance by Thom Vernon as he transforms himself into four different characters in a small Arkansas town. I was totally drawn in from the moment Mr. Vernon arrived on stage – his presence is commanding. The story is dramatic and powerful. You will run through a wide range of emotions in the course of an hour in this no holds barred look at gender identity that is raw, touching and thought provoking. The show was wonderfully accented by the musical sounds of Douglas Lee. Bravo to them both!

In Conclusion:

They have it all: cash, charm, and connections. Playing by different rules. So when a boy is found dead and two more stand to hang, justice is under the microscope and we have to ask: how did we get here, where are we going and do we have a choice?
