I pulled a steering wheel off a junked car, then set out to make that wheel a star!
Come see Five Short Drives.
The play is five separate experiences, each taking place on a drive.
The first is a drive by a father and son, then a drive with two friends, another is two people going on a date, while another is a stranger giving a lift to a stranger, and finally, of course, a rideshare.
No drive goes as expected. Most characters travel on emotional journeys they definitely did not chart. Our set may be two simple theater boxes and a fake steering wheel, but our stories are far more complex.
Our performances are at the New Collective Theater – right in the center of Theater Row at 6440 Santa Monica Blvd.
