From the creative team behind last year’s critically-lauded Hollywood Fringe hit musical, DISASTEROID! (winner of the Best of the Broadwater encore award; nominated for three HHF18 Awards, including “Best Musical” and “Outstanding Songwriting”), comes the world-premiere musical comedy, EARTH TO KAREN, playing for a seven-show run at The Broadwater Black Box Theater as part of the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Written by Zachary Bernstein and directed by Guy Picot, this new comedy follows Karen, a disgraced ex-astronaut, as she attempts to move on from past criminal mistakes, overcome an unflattering nickname, and prove she’s got her life back in order; with mixed results.
