My overall impression
I’ve been a fan of Sound & Fury for many years, and many incarnations, having always enjoyed their Fakespearian productions at the Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire. However, this was my first time to see something other than the Fakespearian plays that I’ve come to know and love, and I can confirm that I really AM a big fan. Fun, fun, fun, and so engaging and entertaining. It’s definitely a show that you should see more than once if you want to catch all of the jokes or sci-fi references. Actually, I’d probably need to see it 5 or 6 times because they are way above my intellect most of the time, but their quick wit and cheeky innuendo always makes me laugh. It was a bit Star Trek meets Apocalypse Now and they are not only fun but so talented (loved the opening “Spaceship Man”). I will now make it a point to check out their other productions and not just wait for them to put on tights to perform Fakespeare. Spaceship Man was well worth seeing and I’d see it again.
