Lanessa Long will be performing her one-act “Nobody’s Really Helped Me” at the Hollywood Fringe Festival this June. It is a one-woman musical-comedy that journeys through the melodramas that make up being 22 and on the cliffs of severe unknowns. Through fast and fluid piano riffs and character-packed vocals, Lanessa takes us through songs and stories of modern womanhood, relationships, art, education, and what to do on a quest for identity amidst angst.
After the Hollywood Fringe, she will be putting this show up at locations spanning the Western Hemisphere, including the Curious Comedy Theater in Portland, the Free Fringe Edinburgh in Scotland, and the United Solo Theater Festival in New York.
She will be performing it at the Broadwater Studio June 2 at 5 PM, June 7 at 10 PM, June 13 at 11 PM, June 16 at 7 PM, and June 23 at 1:30 PM. The run-time of this show is 42 minutes, tickets are $8.00 and can be found at: www.hollywoodfringe.org/projects/5295
