One person shows can be really tough to watch sometimes. Indulgent vanity projects with performers that often can't carry a bag of peanuts let alone an hour 20 minute long show... Jon Prescott / Scott Metcalf is not one of those performers. This is a very tight, pacey and compelling piece of theatre, a brilliant and captivating story and a raw, sensitive and very skilled performance. Totally recommend it!... full review

This show was so incredibly impactful. The journey Jon takes us on seems both surreal and hauntingly familiar. Humor and intensity are perfectly balanced in this true story that will strike an emotional chord with so many people. Time flies by and when the roller coaster of this story comes to an end, one is left feeling emotionally stirred, empathic and inspired. Highly recommended! ... full review

Jon Prescott takes the audience on an often hilarious and ultimately poignant journey in his one man show directed by Annie McVey. Prescott’s ability to carry a show alone for nearly ninety minutes is a remarkable feat. His ability to simultaneously charm the audience and recount traumatic years of his life is not only due to his being a skilled performer, but is a result of McVey’s strong, yet subtle direction. ... full review
