... full review

Shelly West's performance as Mina in Maron Doll was authentic, raw, and beautifully executed. She has a grounded presence and a natural chemistry with the other lead, Lara Helena, who plays her mother. Fantastic acting. Overall, the story succeeded at taking us on an emotional rollercoaster, exploring the depths of family bond and unconditional love through these two characters.... full review

We all use a good cry every once in a while, and when life gets busy, it’s hard to find a moment to let the tears flow. I think this play will definitely help you to do so just as I did. Maron Doll is such a heart-wrenching love story between an ill mother and a daughter. You may want to give your mother a phone call after the show. So touching, heart-broken, and happy at the end… I love the storyline and the cast was amazing! ... full review

This show was a wonderfully woven story of how love can come out of the most turbulent of circumstances and that no time can pass that love cannot find a way to emerge again with even the smallest amount of forgiveness and the will to surrender ones ego. This story is timeless and I believe why it can make the majority of the audience fall into its powerful hands and feel hope, loss, empathy and compassion for these characters... and walk away reflecting ones own life and the choices we make regarding loss and love with a whole new light and most likely some tears. I think the entire audience was sniffling through the last 1/4 of show. :-) ... full review
