About the Project
Recipient of The Encore Producers’ Award and nominee for the 2Cents Distinctive Voices Award, I Came to Make Noise is a hip hop feminist theatrical happening that challenges the stereotype that women are expected to be quiet and agreeable. Through dance, beatbox and spoken word, 3 women share their fears, faults and journeys to self-awareness.
