Review by CATHERINE CURTIS

What I liked

The hypnosis demonstration was truly fascinating to watch.

What I didn't like

I would have liked to see more. Obviously, the good doctor has a great deal of knowledge on the Victorian occult, a subject that is rich with shady and intriguing characters as well as sincere believers, (the latter of which included Sir Arthur Conan Doyle).

My overall impression

An interesting mix of history, charlatanry and real phenomena with a touch of theatricality.
