Inspired by true circumstances, writer and performer Ruth Isabel Guerra shares fantastical and awkward stories of growing up as a Filipina in the American South. This is a one-woman performance told in five chapters, featuring pages from Guerra’s personal journals and multi-media art. Come experience tales of being young, feeling lost, and ultimately, the power of storytelling in the journey of healing. *

Ruth Isabel Guerra is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Sewanee: The University of the South and studied film production at The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic.
