What I liked

Loved the message and most of all the realness. I have seen Ras perform and this show reflects a shift into something richer that Rasika has ALWAYS had inside. This was one of your most connected, tapped in performances. You went there, with the emotions and the sadness, and the honesty. And then of course, are all the other killer comedic skills you have always kicked ass at—the rapping, the voices, (brilliant sea turtle voice!), the Indian Dr stuff, ridiculous and hilarious!!!! I also liked how you handled all the audience participation and made it funny when people didn’t know what to do. It was a fun touch. I thought that thing with the critic (Home Depot Skeleton) and Daphne was really poignant and compelling. So honest, and hilarious at the same time.

What I didn't like

I think the title highlights ADHD more than what the show is about. The show to me, is SO much richer than that. I mean KEEP the material on ADHD, it’s freaking hilarious! But i felt like, something along the lines of “41 years in Hollywood”, or like “Every Other Day I’m hustling” would encapsulate it. Something about like the dreams, and the road, and the shit.

My overall impression

One of Rasika’s MUST SEE shows! To me, this show is a story of actualization—and all those things that get in the way on the road to fulfillment and meaning. Rasika brings a rawness to the stage, her performance is real, in the moment, intense and honest, and I loved riding the ADHD waves with her. It was funny! But I also found myself tearing up and relating so much to the yearning, frustration, and the fuck you feelings that come up. Loved it! Definitely recommend if you feel stuck in life, or that you just might go at a different pace than others.
