What I liked

Rasika Mathur’s energy and honesty (about her family, herself and Hollywood) locks us in from the beginning and keeps us eager for what’s coming next. Her show begins with a casting session, so for some of the audience, the show is literally interactive, and Rasika works brilliantly with whatever is thrown her way. Her improv background shines in this piece.

What I didn't like

I wanted an unexpected scene of raw vulnerability, in direct opposition to the joyous comedy, perhaps when you find out about work-related bad news, or perhaps arising from a loss/failure related to having ADHD. Nonetheless, Rasika is the real deal. Poetic, creative, full-circled writing, with a captivating stage presence. Mindy Kaling, your days are numbered, girl.

My overall impression

Can you say “Hilarious?” This is one of those shows that keeps you so engaged, the hour flies by. And I think I might have ADHD…wtf!!! Another disorder to add to my list. But hey, the show is educational and hilarious!

In Conclusion:

They have it all: cash, charm, and connections. Playing by different rules. So when a boy is found dead and two more stand to hang, justice is under the microscope and we have to ask: how did we get here, where are we going and do we have a choice?
