There are very few large cast shows at Fringe where every single actor is on point at all times. But this is one of them. Great staging and direction by Victor Isaacs helping craft (and give) performances real and connected. Strong performances across the board but I would be remiss if I didn't mention stand-out moments from Dominic Daniels, Ryan Lacey, and Rosney Mauger. Powerful stuff. I advise witnessing it for yourselves.... full review

It's hard to overcome a strong memory like the one that Howard Rollins, Adolf Caesar, Denzel Washington, left in the film version of "A Soldier's Story" but this cast made me forget for a night. To a man, they were pitch perfect. Great use of a small stage integrated the flashbacks seamlessly. I was impressed.... full review

I had never seen or read this play before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a very powerful story and the message is sadly still somehow relevant today. I know I'm being kind of vague, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. It definitely has some very heartfelt moments (be prepared to cry.) The cast was excellent as was the ... full review

A SOLDIER'S PLAY is a fantastic show that is well performed and staged. On the surface this is a mystery. The story plays out in the deep south in the era of WWII. Immediately we are thrown into murder investigation and the complications that arise from it's circumstance. The journey to discover the murderer is engaging and deals with racial themes and cultural divides.... full review

A very strong and perfectly cast ensemble, with bare set and economical direction which allowed for the story and characters to truly shine. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to see A Soldier's Play. I wish the entire cast and production team much success. ... full review
