This show is engaging, thought-provoking, and seriously entertaining. The cast is composed of many talented women who reinvigorate the classical text with interesting and relatable portrayals of Shakespeare's characters. The main actress, playing Prospero, is incredible - she gives a complex and dynamic performance that takes the audience on a journey that explores themes of justice, cruelty, redemption, and ultimately, sisterhood, with the women around her.... full review

Shakespeare is a difficult genre to tackle in today's day and age and this all-female production of, The Tempest, absolutely nailed it! I was so impressed with the authenticity of the director's vision that the cast brought to life. It was inventive, smart, and rooted in Shakespeare tradition. I hope you all go see it. ... full review

The characters are clear and vibrant, the casting game-changing, the thematic book-ends concise bits of brilliance, the cutting almost perfect, the performances as true and kind and weighty as deserved, and the direction smooth and wonderfully accessible for the space. In other words, a reimagining of a 400-year-old script that would make Hollywood executives have an "aha!" moment. ... full review

This company and production achieved both (although I suspect some jokes went over my head, not being a regular fan of OITNB)! In particular the really difficult roles--Miranda, Ferdinand, Sebastian and Antonio--ended up engaging and real. ... full review
