Review by DEBORAH FURMAN

What I liked

All of it, the characters, the plot, the precise physicality nothing spared. Great cast. The humanity of the story. The opening scene in the hall, the birth of Dracula born out of loss and hate, the search for companionship. An inventive human twist to what I used to think was a dark devilish tale. Well done!

What I didn't like

Who am I to say. This is a wonderful production to be proud of.

My overall impression

I really enjoyed this production from beginning to end. Totally engaged and entertained throughout.

YA BASTA: TIME'S BEEN UP

From the Justice for Janitors Campaign in the 90s to End Rape on the Night Shift in 2016, YA BASTA: TIME’S BEEN UP tells the story of immigrant janitor’s fight to end rape on the night shift while resisting to no longer be invisible in the workplace.

ORANGUTAN

ORANGUTAN is a haunting and absurd one-woman show about the mother of a brutish (slightly orange) would-be dictator, and the tribalism that’s tearing our country apart.
