What I liked
Loved the sassy, fun between the feuding queens. Loved having one of the queens distinguishing herself as “trans.” The cast’s ability to work cohesively impressed me.
What I didn't like
I felt the show could have been at least 10-15 minutes longer. I wanted to see the memorial performance actually take place. Do the queens get past their differences and perform a number together? Do they each have a separate performance? And what are their talents? Just lip-syncing or does each of them have a special talent? NOTE: This was a preview show, so it’s possible the end was omitted.
My overall impression
This play was a fun and imaginative experience with a charming cast and unique storyline involving 4 drag queens in a love-pentagon with their beloved man, who has tragically died. His final wish is that they each perform at his memorial.
